Personality: sleepyhead l simple l comfortable l somewhat childish l oblivious l easygoing l unfashionable
Haruse's very much a simple person. He prefers fast food to high class, being read to instead of reading, and the like. He tends to daydream or doze off a lot, especially when someone with a good voice talks to him. Haru prefers comfortable clothes over fashion, which ends up to his poor fashion sense of polka dot sweaters and such. His childish personality takes hold when he's hungry. Despite a certain attentiveness to those he finds interesting, he is rather oblivious to situations and happenings of the world around him.
History: Haruse grew up in a rather normal household. His father was a nonfiction classical author, and his mother was a journalist. Growing up surrounded by papers and books, Haruse grew to love the smell of fresh books. His mother or father would always read to him, which instigated his habit of falling asleep to the sound of voices. He lived in a classical Japanese home that inspired much of his father's works. They owned a backyard pond full of koi and fishes. When Haru was 2, he fell in the pond and was surrounded by the slippery wiggly fishes and became somewhat traumatized by the event. Which is also the time when he started seeing spirit fish; though he can handle spirit fish, he dislikes real fishes very much.
Additional Info: * Despite his childlike quality, he loves all kinds of books, including nonfiction (which is probably due to his father's influence). * His hair is often tied up and away from his face because his bangs makes his eyes itchy. * He dyed his hair blond was an attempt at "fashion." * He's rather close with his spirit fish, despite disliking fish very much. * He named his spirit fish "Paroro." * Seiyu Voice: [link] * He doesn't express his emotions much.
